Removing autorun.inf from USB Drive

Nowadays we tend to get USB virus easily. Most them affect the autorun.inf file and revert settings in such a way to execute their scripts . One technique to remove this virus is explained below

 

Let’s imagine that your USB disk is the drive E.

1. Open the command prompt window (type cmd.exe on the run window)
2. Execute the command: erase E:\aurorun.inf /f /a

And that’s it

Another method to remove this threat is use, for example,  Autorun Eater.
