Compare Programming Languages Usage

Today on Ohloh, a social network for open source projects, I found an interesting graphic witch compare the used of different programming languages.

The graphic compares the languages picked by the user. The height of each point on the graph is the sum of all commits in that month that included at least one line of change for that language. A commit that changed two languages will be counted for each language.

You can select the languages you want to compare and see the result graphic.

    That’s the study that combined C, C++ and C#, all as “C” in their statistics if I remember right, which is a weird decision. Anyway, no surprise that C dominates if we’re talking about number of lines of code. πŸ˜›

      I don’t know in the past, but now you can select C, C++ and C# separatly πŸ˜€ and see the results πŸ˜€
